2300 pierce dps is goated but the single target dps (~900) isn't allat, it's a very strong tower because it has good crowd control and usable single target dps for bosses as well
also the thumbnail gives off the same vibes as "turret is better than ranger because 1 turret does more dps than 1 ranger"...

Engi is overall better since it doesnt require every buff in the game or micro to have good dps and you can get it much earlier

gantling gun doesnt have better max dps than 6max engis/8 max accels/15 max minis but it does have better commander support(compared to engi and accel) and infinite range so it is really good for harder modes so u dont have to micro towers

I don't think this tower is op in the slightest, 2K dps is less than most dps towers when all placed, I believe this tower fits in the interchangeable DPS meta just fine and doesn't outperform or underperform others
