Question 14 @33:15 So from my understanding if 2 people working at the same work rate, take 6 hours to paint a room, then if one person was painting, it would take 12 hours. So if 3 people were to work at the same work rate then it should be 3 hours. I don’t know why I can’t grasp this to come with the correct answer.

The question doesn’t say 2 people paint the room and take 12 hours it says they both work at the same work rate and get the job done in 6, so in my head

1 person paints the room in 12 hours/ 2 people work together to paint the room in 6 hours / 3 people would paint the room in 3 hours

If the answer was supposedly 4 hours then all 3 would paint the room in 4 hours which means 2 people would paint the room in 8 hours but 2 paint it in 6. Please cure me of my stupidity.
