I own the MK7 gti and it is the definition of having your cake and eating it too. Practical, fuel efficient, fast, comfortable, refined, tune-able, looks great, flies under the radar, if you need awd the golf R is an option too. Most cars are really good at one or two things but the MK7 checks so many boxes off without huge compromise.

Fun fact: the Mk7's are so quiet and sound so weird because the turbo is literally bolted to the head. The more you know :)

I have a MK7 GTI that is APR Stage 2 as my daily. The amount of fun you can have in these cars is amazing and its still respectable and practical
