I like how some of the council look like “Hm good point” while others are like “Bro we’re in the splash zone can you not?”

I love how hypocritical Carmilla is. She constantly wines about "delusional, greedy old men", but taunts Dracula for having a loving, honest relationship

Nice detail how he is still wearing his wedding ring. He was truly faithful to his wife, even after her death. Then Carmilla went and questions him.

Ok can we take a minute and appreciate Dracula's mad restraint level for not making sloppy joe meat out of Carmila.

Say what you want, but at least this Father doesn't see his wife as a Pet

I love how even with all of this, Dracula still isn't pissed enough to stop using his inside voice.

I love how everyone just got so nervous 🤣

I love how her excuse for being late is that she travelled from far away and his castle keeps moving. As if there aren't vampires from India and Japan stood right next to her.

I'm starting to think that Carmilla was actually JEALOUS of Dracula and Lisa's marriage. While she was forced into being a vampire and was physically/sexually abused until she snapped, Dracula loved Lisa enough to respect her wanting to stay human, and just having a loving, healthy relationship in general. Just another unobtainable thing of Dracula's that Carmilla wanted for herself

Well if you considered that dracula in his blood deprived form was beating alucard, sypha and trevor without any significant damage to him, we can start to understand how powerful he was in his prime and why he was the leader of the entire species.

Hector: why is she saying these things does she have a death wish?
Issac: i don`t know man, best to just remain silent and see what happens

*If her question was asked at any point within the year Lisa died and Dracula was still pissed, the servants would be cleaning her off the walls and floor of this room for a week*

Carmilla playing a dangerous game, Dracula could clap her ass in half a second and no one there could stop him if he wanted to and she'd be unable to do anything about it herself

That face she makes at the end makes me think this was a gamble for Carmilla. She knew there was a chance that Dracula would kill her dead but she took the risk to establish her superiority to everyone in the room

Edit: Some of y'all need to chill. Yeesh.

I love the sheer restraint shown here. It really was a gamble and we as the audience know that even in this state Dracula is in a league of his own, separate from his species. He could kill everyone in that room and they could do nothing to stop him, so the sheer audacity of someone to walk in far later than they were summoned and question or mock him in front of his entire court, is almost admirable. It could have very easily blown up in Carmilla’s face but she still chanced it, a perfect representation of her ambition.

Not gonna lie...the first time I watched this I thought Dracula was gonna smack her across the room.

“Why didn’t you ever turn this new wife of yours?”
I dunno Carmilla—maybe because she never asked/never wanted to be a vampire and Dracula respected that as her wish because he had a healthy, loving, functional relationship with his wife?

Dracula could've literally smeared the inner walls of his war room with her blood in the blink of an eye
