This is great! I love how they don't just throw V(r) at you from the start. Instead, the speaker works backwards with a series of very natural "Well, why?" questions. Excellent explanation.

Thank you for the quick and dirty explanation. Just to be sure, a force field would be each of the potential equation components, right? (i.e. bonds, angles, dihedrals, van der Waal and electrostatic)

Beautifully explained! I have a question regarding acceleration. Like we calculate total potential energy by using bonds, angle, dihedral, and other van der Walls forces that is the actual magnitude but what about the direction of those atoms on which we will apply the force to give new positions in the simulations trajectory. Thank you
