Dynamics: What are Forces?

What's a force? No, not THE force. That's from Star Wars. I'm talking about the forces in the universe that make things move. Yes, I know Yoda moved the X-Wing with The Force. Will you quit it? We are talking about the real universe here. Fine, I guess it could be the same universe as ours, but why are there humans that speak English in a galaxy far, far away? Alright fine, go watch a Star War first and then come back to me when you want to learn some real physics.

I'm using the Force right now to learn physics for the first time (20 years post-high school). You have been a big help so far. May the Force be with you!

Got a test on this tomorrow, wish me luck!

You've been a huge help through my college career for a while, like you followed me through o Chem, but now you're doing my physics course level.

You're helping parents with kids that are distance learning so much!!! Thank you! Are there possibly any worksheets associated with your videos?

best, concise as well as interesting.
Best thing about your videos is that it goes with the flow from low to high

the people who dislike this are the teachers who cant teach as well as hiim

“Infact contact forces that describe macroscopic motion are just manifestation of field forces described at microscopic level”....just cleared everything

I like your videos. Great job. Could you explain what is G-force in a simple way and how it is calculated upon high impact?

So as I understand it, an applied/contact force like kicking a ball or pushing something across the table, boils down to the pushing/repulsion of electrons at the microscopic level?

all i was looking for was confirmation if force really is a vector quantity😆
but I guess 1:23 indirectly confirms it

Man i have one doubt, what causes motion of the object, force or energy

Hi, unrelated but we've heard good things and we are DESPERATE.

A mass (m) is horizontally attached to a spring (spring constant κ) on a frictionless
surface. The mass is subjected to a forcing function F cos ωt. Plot the maximum
amplitude at steady state (x) as a function of driving frequency ω.

how do we go about this???
