EMP SHIELD- I spoke with Toyota dealership about grounding my EMP SHIELD. They said it was not necessary to sand off the factory paint under a bolt, when used as a ground. That the screws are in contact with bar metal of the cowling, etc. Then the tech says, well it won't hurt, so I sanded of the contact areas of the bolt just to make sure. I sure sleep better knowing wherever I am, I can get home in event of a more and more probable emp event...What a crazy world we live in thanks to the three nut cases in Russia/China/N.Korea!!!

That EPRI study was paid for by the electric companies. Of course it said an EMP wouldn't be that bad. That said, we don't know how bad it would be. But I wouldn't bet my like on that study.
