I have been wondering why Alexander Kristoff’s sweet Sweet helmet was radically different from the rest of his UNO-X teammates He won with it first time out. Today, I found out. It could have been a gem on this list.

I am waiting for a video camera system on the stem so I can stay full aero and watch on the screen where I am going :-)

my Suntour brake levers have the cables exiting out the top. The reason is to break up the airflow around me just like on the they knew a thing about aero in 1985 😁👍

One thing I would love to see is aero contact lenses. 🤔🧐 😎🤓

If you buy all Ceramic Speed Trinkets available spending $2, 000 you can probably save 5-6 watts! Astounding!!

MAKE LONG TT's GREAT AGAIN! Longer TT's would mean a super aero crazy position would be less sustainable and teams would adapt.

Wait a minute is the Ceramic speed cover over the pulley even UCI legal? I see it all the time in triathlons so I thought it was banned at the UCI level since tris have more relaxed rules. Or is this video just about cycling gains no matter which level?

If someone say, "don't look where you drive, it's more arrow" and you go for it, well, it's not the arrows fault, if he hits you.

Loved this vid...honestly for most of us, any of these innovations are useless. That helmet condom looks and sounds cheap.

Have the UCI banned one piece bib rairing "handle bars" and one piece faired tail seats to get some pressure recovery?
As long as they are one piece they can only be restricted by complex dimension rules.

Hello, I seem to recall that Giuseppe Saronni crashed into a stationary object during a time trial because he wasn't looking. His career predates aero bars.

If being aero is the most important thing, then . . . Rim Brakes for the Win[D]!

What I don't understand is disc brakes on TT bikes. There is literally no point given the weight and arguable aero penalty

I might try and cut a golf ball in half and make my own speedplay pedals 😂

Great snippet video.👏
For me it's speedplay pedals. How much for no gain? 🙄

Sometimes I don't get the cycling community: On the one hand everyone and their mother is bickering about how to save 0.2W on their sunday ride and on the other hand people who base their life around winning and who are therefore dependent on every marginal saving of their energy get ridiculed for looking slightly strange. We don't have to wear this and if it does the job who are we to judge? If it didn't work teams would drop those helmets and stuff immediately. I mean look at the POC helmet: It was ditched and Bigham brought it back and now take a hot guess why it's still in the peloton. EF have been beaten only by a second twice already this year.
And to be honest the Sweet Protection helmet looks pretty sick imo, and if it serves a purpose all the better.

Pro cycling in general is outrageous. To truly determine the best cyclist and team, we need standardized bikes and equipment (i.e. everyone uses the same stuff, not the same "rules"). And perhaps a cap on the money spent; the circus that accompanies a peloton is ludicrous and unrelatable to average people.

Losing never looks good. Winning looks better. After a few years of the winner looking a certain way, suddenly everyone thinks that whatever they are using looks good. Hand me that balaclava and the condom for the win plz.
