@ikemazowski Hey! Check out my video called "Converting Polar Equations to Rectangular Equations Example 1". It's almost the exact same problem as the one you have here. The first thing you should do is subtract 8cos(theta) from both sides so that you end up with r=-8cos(theta). Then you'll be starting from the same place I do in that video. I hope that helps!! :D
