Catching lunch with local girl

Exploring and fishing remote tropical islands of Indonesia. Catching fish from the beach and cooking it tropical island style! I made a fire pit with old pieces of coral and coconut shells, for heat insulation. Then cooked the fish using sticks as a grill on the open fire pit. She brought fresh lime, salt and pepper to add a flavor to the delicious tropical fish.

Hey Cavy, can you do a video explaining where exactly you are at geographically? Maybe incorporate that into a video I recommended you make as far as how you keep your terminal tackle and good working order and how you are able to acquire tackle when you're in the middle of the Pacific. Just some ideas that I had I'm sure you've probably thought of it already

Another way to cook grilled fish is wrapping the whole fish with salt . The bigger the fish the more salt you use.
It works perfectly with the fresh catch fish that has scales. So, you can clean the fish but leave the scales. When fish is ready cooked, salt helps separate the skin from meat and makes fish more delicious .

Bro you need a lesson on cooking fish with sticks..😁😁.. first rule don't use dry sticks and second rule don't put your fish over the flame, wait for the fire to become coal or embers..fish is easy to cook over open fire on sticks.. as an islander it is torture watching you trying to cook that fish.. all in all top videos..

I carry a tether so my fish stays alive. That way when I am ready to go or eat them they will be the freshest they can be. The tether can be made for any size fish. You should try it works great and light to carry.
