0 comment and 403 views. I am sure most workers got a year-end bonus. I didn't get one, but I work for myself, and plan and manage my own finances.

Year end bonus? I haven't heard of one of those since the 60's. In a 35 year career working for profitable companies I think I got 3 bonuses. Two profit sharing bonuses each of less than 1% of my salary, and one, about a 25% bonus, for having taken the risk of joining a startup in it's early days. We were already putting 20% of our income into investments so I didn't feel the need to put any more into investments. Some went into the 401k, but much of them went into the "fun money" account for vacations, etc.

100k? I need to switch careers. I’m excited for a 600$+ bonus.
