This episode is from the year of my birth. Lucky to be alive on the planet at the same time as these legends. Just watched Joan Cusack in Shameless for the first time this year and she’s still so unbelievably, effortlessly hilarious. Just the coolest, most unique lady, with great personal values as well. 💕

Its the Trinity Killer. Its Jon Lithgow doing wood working, talking to a disgruntled daughter, has a pegboard of tools and hes in a basement.

Funny, but so true about how we depend on cliches and false philosophies instead of real, solid feelings.

A half Filipino half white girl in my high school looked like Joan Cusack. I was so in love with her!

I like today’s cast they aren’t as bad as people make them out to be. But if idk if they can make this one work if you gave it to them. Two perfect actors for this bit.

It’s too good to be a sketch. How do I watch this for a half hour?

I remember watching this episode when NBC used to air ''so- called classic episodes'' of SNL  very early sunday mornings in the mid 2000's

like the bob newhart episode where bob dictated a letter full of expressions and instructed carol to type it up right away and she mocked him by replying "right, bob. waste not, want not." or the one where he offered his group advice in the form of a generic expression and mr. carlin said sarcastically: "wait a minute, i think i'd like to write that down!"

Back in the day when they memorize their scripts and not rely on teleprompters 👏🏻
