In today's video I melt down a bunch of scrap copper tubing and turn it into shiny treasure. I also start talking in this video so be prepared to be bored to death 😅 Of course RC Randy makes an appearance to help haul the heavy load ,as usual !

Invest in a heat wrap for the tank. Keeps it warm or hot keeping the pressure up. I use one for fall and winter melts. Never lose pressure. Good video. New subscriber.

There are a few things you can do with the PCBs but takes space and time, you got more expensive methods like citric acid, which is okay if it leaches to the ground (not the metal) to extract the tin for example, if you got time and temperature vinegar should also do the job and i guess some added salt too, fumes aren't usually good so you might need some ventilation, I however like these methods more than strong non-natural acids or methods that generate dust. I could go deeper into it if you want more info!

Beware of pipes, if it melts on top first a air bubble can form which will eventually explode. Those tongues seem fairly sensitive to heat, would be afraid of over use. Regarding the brass, i noticed tin can get the color without any other metal but the copper ofcourse, haven't tested it properly tho. If you really want to avoid air bubbles in the ingot you need to either centrifuge, vacuum or patience.
