Filipina or Indonesian? Which women are "better"? Are there any differences between them anyway? Does it matter? Yes, I think it does matter and therefore I made this video. Hello,
I am new to your channel. I have seen just couple of your videos, but I wanna go through all of them, one by one, being very keen on Asian world. I can already tell that your videos, although I have seen just couple of them, are amazing; informative, useful, helpful and trustworthy, just like you, my friend.
I am originally from Czechia, but English has become my second mother tongue over the years.
I don't know if this will sound prejudice or critical or so, but I'd definitely choose an Indonesian woman over Filipina woman. I met some Filipinos many years ago in Vancouver Canada, and over the years I met many Filipinos online - not in dating apps, rather a meetup apps, but thanks to them I learned some useful and important details about them. I don't know if I can use "personally", coz it was actually virtually, but I want to refer to my own experience.
With this being said, based on my experience, observation and this video, which is btw great and it confirms lots of my thoughts, I agree with everything, although I haven't been to either of those countries yet, but definitely wanna visit and explore.
To the point - Filipinas have very good level of English, and some speak rather formal English or use words that no other nation in the world uses, which makes it difficult sometimes to understand. Next thing is their positive mindset - never met more positive nation in my life, despite their struggles and situation. I was told, by some of them, that it is thanks to the fact that for over 333 years they were "controlled" by the Spaniards, and there is also some American influence. Every time you read a message from Pinoy or Pinay, it is so relaxing, positive and inspiring, which is truly unique and shocking, in a good way. Then it is their beauty, which is truly unique and extremely difficult to resist.
Plus they love to help and are open and friendly and always work in groups and do things in numbers of people, which is the opposite of most European countries, especially Czechia, where people are so divided and suffer from trust issues and are grumpy and negative. Mainly in Prague. Pitiful, but it is for another time.
On the opposite side, Filipinos cons - Never in my life have I ever come across more boring sense of humor. This is a cultural matter, coz Czechs enjoy making fun of everything, leading to insults, yet still not as savage as British sense of humor. Whenever you hear or read Filipino person to joke or attempting to say something funny, usually it feels like "hm, ok, and?". Another con is that they can be very touchy and can complain and potentially give you a hard time. Not trying to sue you or kill you or so, but they can be very angry. Another thing - they love to talk too much about themselves and not really asking many questions about you, and if so, just some. I love to talk a lot too, but I always give a space to the other person to share their thoughts and feelings. I truly do not like self-focused people. This is something that many of them had in common, I am referring to women, coz I met lots of them, it is just different, I think for most men it is special to meet many women, by this I mean as human beings, not sex toys or so.
Now about Indonesians - mature, intelligent, curious, smart, calm and humble, very beautiful, you can actually sense their feminine side in them. As you said in the video - they want to be women. Also met many of them online, same apps, but they are more relaxed, although it is also true that the language barrier gets in the way sometimes, but they try to speak English. They are also very patient, based on my experience, so it is not difficult to help them improve their English knowledge. Next thing is their religion - I have nothing against it, me being OFFICIALLY an atheist. I put it into capitals, because I am spiritually oriented person, but I do not pray, but I do not deny anything. I am in the middle.
Everything you said - they are happy to be good housekeepers, cooks, wives, lovers, partners, mothers. Perhaps it can differ and there might be some Indonesians with the opposite mindset, just like in the Philippines. But honestly and personally speaking, I can sense that Indonesians are more suitable for life. Not saying that Filipinas are not, but it is just my personal feeling and thought based on observing the conversation between me and the woman from Indonesia and the Philippines.
I hope I won't receive much hatred or criticism for sharing my honest thoughts, opinions and feelings, haha. Wanted to contribute somehow given the virtual experience I have, plus some small real-life experience.

Maybe it's just because I'm interested in Indonesia I seem to find videos on retiring in Indonesia. As you stated in other videos there are many overseas Filipinos, either immigrants or overseas workers so many Americans, Canadians, and Aussies have had exposure to the Filipino people. It was an American colony for over 3 decades so many Americans are familiar with it iand may have been stationed there during their service or a family member was. English, almost everyone has some English in the Philippines, this is not the case in Indonesia. All the signs are in English. Religion, Catholic in the PH's and 88% Muslim in Indonesia, except for Bali which is 87% Balinese Hinduism. Less likely to date a man in his 60's, 70's & 80's in Indo. Bali is a lot more expensive than the rest of Indo. and the PH. To stay long term in any of the S.E. Asian countries comes down to their visa. Not sure what the Minimalist Nomad did to get a work permanent to work in Malaysia, Philippines and Indonesia but they're not easy and they usually have a time limit. Retirement visas vary in each country and some have a time limit. Indonesia I would say has the second easiest retirement visa that leads to permanent resident if you're over 55 years of age after 5 years of temp. res. visa. You have to hire a maid, have a 1 year proof of a rental lease agreement and health insurance. The PH's none of this applies and you can be on a tourist visa and renew up to 3 years before having to do a visa run. The visa, the high use of English, religion, highest westernized country, and the age gap dating is HUGE and makes the Philippines the winner for many.

Although Indonesian women rarely ask for money. There is an expectation you will give/help. My experience which is from being married to an Indonesian woman for 25 years, is that generosity begets generosity.

indonesians women are mostly need security because of the culture that women are house wife and rise the kids. about jealousy, I don't think its happen to expat only. it happen to local people also, and this type of jealousy isn't women attitude only, the men of Indonesia also very protective to his girl and kinda jealous type compare to western. this is because of our people orientation is to be married, and invested the future for the girl/boy we've choose, and its happen to teenager as well when they're dating. so it is more because of the culture that we need to find a girl/boy that we can trust the most for the future (happy family and the security).

From my life experience, we are usually taught not to ask for money from men outside our family, except asking husbands usually, even boyfriend very rare, asking other men for money can get dangerous problem from those strangers you know 🙂.

I have not been to Indonesia yet but I have been to the Philippines five times. I have the impression that Indonesian girls are generally a bit more curvy particularly in the chest than most Filipino girls. Most Filipino girls tend to have almost nothing up top and they all wear padding.

As a Fil-Am I've dated pinays Thais and japananese and find that Indonesian girls are very underrated, they are simply gorgeous, especially the mixed ones, they are tall, voluptuous, light skind. I also find that they are less jaded then thais and pinays. They have not really been westernized not like thailand or Philippines and most dont have the fixation of moving to the US since most already have stable jobs or carrers and life in Indonesia. culture is still very old fasioned and the women still are very subservient to thier men i take its from the majority Muslim culter.
