I used to get so annoyed that many people thought that Nirvana wrote this song. Great version!

I LOVE Vega's gestures during this. They add a warmth depth, as does the orchestra.

I like this way more than I expected to. it's a very pleasant surprise.
I've been a Suzanne Vega fan for many years and a Bowie fan for longer.

Brilliant rendition! I love Suzanne Vega, but LOVE Bowie even more! I sing this song in the shower everyday, along with Ashes to Ashes. I think my Gen Z neighbors know who Bowie is now.

Aww, the lovely Suzanne Vega. Incredible that David was only 19 when he composed this.

Superb version. When I met Vega in Cambridge, 2017, we chatted about Bowie and how some members of his band had backed her, too.

Great version, Bowie was a genius, thankfully his catalogue of work will live on forever and inspire the young of many more generations.

年末にデビッドボウィとビングクロスビーの Little drummer used to listen to David Bowie &Bing Crosby 's "Little drummer boy" in the end of the year. This year, I can find this fantastic tune!! Thanks a lot!!!

I really like the way she characterises the voices in this song, keeping the mystery of it but introducing an element of mischievous glee I don't hear in the original. It was the habit of the composer to reimagine his own songs, thus keeping them fresh across decades. I've no idea how he felt about covers he'd heard but I think he would have respected this highly polished version of his tireless and timeless classic.

It's like showing up at a party and seeing that two groups of friends from different parts of your life are both there, found each other before you got there and are having the best time...and it makes you remember why you thought they were all awesome to begin with. One of my favorite Bowie songs performed by one of my favorite female musicians and one of the best band lineups he put together...and the orchestration has some great things going on in there too. Bravo!!!
