Israel accused of ‘ethnic cleansing’ in Gaza by former defence minister

Journalist and Author Antony Loewenstein has commented on Israel’s former defence minister accusing Israel of committing war crimes and “ethnic cleansing” in Gaza.

“That’s his words, not mine, ethnic cleansing,” Mr Loewenstein told Sky News Australia.

“Which is what anyone who reads and knows what’s happening Gaza is happening; this is the reality.”

The Israeli deal has been clear from October 8th 2023 if Hamas surrender and release the hostages. The war ends.
The repeated requests for the release of the hostages has been rejected by Hamas therefore apportioning blame to Israel for what Hamas refuse to accept is unacceptable. On one offer the names of all the hostages were requested dead and alive, Hamas refused. Over a year later one hostage’s family have been told he was murdered on October 7th and his dead body held in Gaza.
Then six hostages were executed Eden weighed 36kg starved and tortured then murdered.
Gaza isn’t a country and it is about trust they were trusted beforehand and clearly they cannot be trusted after October 7th, they spent years attacking Israel.
Anthony is a Hamas supporter, anti Zionist and stating inaccurate bs. If he has friends in Gaza then they and him should be opposing Hamas not criticising Israel.
Gaza is not occupied by Israel it’s been governed by Hamas since 2005.
The citizens of Israel have every right to criticise and oppose the government just like here any democracy has freedom for different political opinions.
Shame the same can’t be said about people supporting terrorism. They do not oppose, criticise or object about their oppression and corrupt leaders.
The responsibility for ethnic cleansing falls on Hamas not Israel and the United Nations supporting their accusations and denying UNWRA culpability.
