The yaw isn’t a real problem because the tonearm pivot and stylus are close enough in their centres to require a huge turning force. That force is enormous compared to the force provided by the stylus tracking a record at audio frequencies. Yaw just seems extreme if you are used to normal arm pivot systems where the arm doesn’t have the same number of degrees of freedom. The arm looks like a good solution.

Love your reviews. Where have you gone? Website is missing.

I agree that the vocals are the true test for a setup. (Not that all records have well-recorded vocals, but controlling for that.) They're the most affected by tracking error, in my experience. (Just like how piano seems to be the most affected by inconsistent platter speed.) Let's just say I have never had the vocals sound perfect while the bass guitar was distorted, haha.

Great explanation.. Is cart set up easier compared to most other arms?

Not sure if this is better than Thomas schick tonearm?

I believe that arm is based on Tensegrity. Buckminster Fuller, tension + integrity. I've thought of using it to float the table for the turntable as well.

Is the Blackbird never more? The links appear to be broken :(

Hi nice vid, I was thinking of getting this arm on an LP12. Do you still use it and how are you're long term opinions on it. Thanks Sean

You actually want less anti skating force, not more, as it crosses the record.
