NEW IMAGE Function - Insert images in cells with a FORMULA!

The Excel IMAGE Function enables you to embed images in a cell using a formula. It supports BMP, JPG/JPEG, GIF, TIFF, PNG, ICO, and WEBP file types.

Super cool and useful. My company has a folder with pictures for every item we sell. Until now I had to use VBA to get pictures next to a list of items. Very happy it can now be done using formulas especially because it stays always attached with the cell even when filtering.

Thanks for your detailed tutorial on this powerful new IMAGE function, but I am on a Mac and I cannot figure out how to get around a #Blocked error. Help instructions for latest Mac version are erroneous, referencing Windows options. Any thoughts on a workaround?

Nice feature very helpful, only issue is that I have a image that has all the ZERO's with slashes through the zero and the image will not convert into excel. Do you know a work around. Thanks in advance.

Do you know if Microsoft has plans to make this work with data brought in via Power Query? For example, if your data source contained a field that was made up of image URLs it would be nice if you could load the data into an Excel worksheet, apply this function, and not have it break when refreshing data.

¿How can i do for editing image into a forms with options? Options lake simple: cutting image, and resize, maybe resolution and finally save the change editing image. Much better if ID photo editor.
