LIVE | Gaza War Spreads: Israel, Hezbollah Inching Closer to War | Vantage with Palki Sharma

Tensions continue to escalate in West Asia after a deadly attack on a football ground in Israel-occupied Golan Heights killed 12 children. Israel has blamed Hezbollah for the attack. However, the Lebanon-based militant group has denied the allegations saying that they did strike Golan Heights but not the football ground. Israel has vowed to retaliate against the purported Hezbollah attack. Israel and Hezbollah have been exchanging fire since October last year, however, Saturday's strike on Golan Heights is expected to trigger a wider war in the region. The world already seems to preparing for a larger war. Air France, Lufthansa and some of the Turkish carriers have cancelled flights from Beirut.

Countries like Germany, the US and India have asked their citizens to exercise caution. Israel is already engaged in a full-blown war with Gaza. Israel's allies, including the US, are reportedly not onboard for a wider war. Moreover, Hezbollah is more well-equipped than Hamas in Gaza. Can Israel sustain a multi-front war?
