This is my DREAM kayak!! It’s everything I ever wanted in a kayak. As a professional Therapist, I take many of my clients out and introduce them to fishing and kayaking. 😊🎣🐟💦 Many of my clients have purchased kayaks since I introduced them. Kayaking and fishing is great therapy for letting go of severe anxiety, especially since many of my clients are California Camp Fire 🔥 survivors, who lost their homes in Paradise California. I’m going to have to save up, as I want one for me, and another one for my clients to use, as I teach and Coach them. Will probably take me 3 years to save enough (As Therapist don’t make very much money, we’re in it to help people, not get rich.), but looks like they’ll be worth it. ♥️

Why did the price go up $500 from 2499 to 2999 in the last few months? I didn’t see that amount of increase in any of your other yaks.

I have had this kayak for about a year now.... this thing is awesome!
This is the first kayak I've ever owned and I'm very glad with my purchase. I'm 6'-3" and weigh 205 lbs and have plenty of room. The seat is super comfortable even for those of us with long legs. It is heavy once it is loaded up with gear but still very manageable. This year I'm going to install the Boonedox landing gear for better transport to and from my truck. Buy it! You won't regret it! Believe me.

I am obviously late to the game but I am very interested in this. However, me being all pessimistic I looked to see how much it would be to replace the entire console should it crap the bed after the warranty and I can’t find anywhere to purchase. For those that have owned this for awhile, Is this something you can find a replacement for eventually if/when needed?

YES - the correct weight of the MK106 fully assembled weighs 121 lbs.

The motor weighs 17 lbs. and the seat is 6 lbs. Remove both of those and you are looking at a hull weight of 98 lbs.

I just used mine for the first time. It is heavy. And the from handle is not strong enough to pull in to my truck. I need to figure out a way to put a rope on the front. For some reason the rear handles are great, and has rope holes on the rear, but where I use it that will not do me any good.

This one is better then the spot lock 1.ancho fixed the spot lock.the 106 last longer out in the water by using paddles at your spot and use the motor to move to the next spot or move slow along the bank etc 106 all day
