How to set up two-factor authentication (2FA)?

2FA means 2-Factor Authentication and it is a significant security measure to protect your account from being compromised.

With 2FA activated, even if someone knows your password, they can't log in to your account or execute sensible operations like:

- Adding bank accounts
- Withdrawing digital assets to external wallets
- Withdrawing fiat money assets to undesired bank accounts

A bad actor may find your device like your computer or phone unlocked with your account logged in, but if they don't have access to your 2FA, they won't be able to access your account.

After linking your XREX account with the google authenticator app and setting up 2FA, go into your google authenticator app and click on the section with the XREX code. This action will copy the code, for which you will next paste it into the XREX app, where you will be requested to enter the 2FA identity verification code.
