This might be a very interesting competition. Especially since it rewards athletes that are awesome in 1 event and maybe not so good overall unlike other competitions. I was looking for some Oberst x Eddie trash talk tho.

I'm excited for this competition. The same old Giants Live format - with the same old events such as axle deadlift and atlas stones is getting a bit boring, so I'm glad they're mixing it up a bit. Hopefully, this will be the start of a series that runs every year.

Oberst probably pulled out because of the hammer hold, he's likely just now gotten his rotator cuff tear rehabbed/recovered decently, that event would've been pretty risky for him right now and the last thing he wants is to reinjure.
