I almost passed out at 10:06 seeing my work featured in YOUR video😭🛐 The advice you gave was so helpful since I struggle quite a lot with perspective and directing the viewer’s eye to certain parts of the piece and you showed EXACTLY how to do that🩷 Everyone’s work was so cool🌷✨

This is probably the most helpful art critique video I’ve found. It really helps to actually see adjustments

every time i'm like "this can't make a huge difference" and then she swaps between the two and it is STUNNING

The fact that the most used phrase in this video is “a little bit” is evident in the fact that most of these drawings don’t need a lot changes. It’s mostly just construction

Thank you so much for the critique! (Mine was at 8:11) I got so excited when I saw my art I never thought I would be picked!!!

I like that you actually explain how your changes help emphasize the artist’s work, and you don’t just say that the “anatomy is off” or the shading is “funky.” You go into depth of how the artist could emphasize their art better, and that really helps.

Please consider making this a series! Your paintovers are incredibly helpful to see, thank you!

Oh I love this so much. Would love to see more if you ever do! My art professor always said “claiming it’s ‘just your style’ means you refuse to improve” and I live by that

Thanks so much, , Jackie, , for roasting & drawover my artwork! The silhouette’s so much better on your version! Man, what have I done 😩

Actually no longer a fan of eyebrows coming out front of hair either hahaha, but anime had consumed me since I was working at the studio using anime style (now not anymore).. Still need to learn a lot on anatomy, proportions, shapes, composition, everything. Really helps a lot on this

This is the only art roasting channel I’ll ever like. Because I find that most people just eventually morph it into their own style but you just fix what there is to fix while being completely positive about it! And that’s what I love

I like how when she mentions things that are more opinion based she admits it can still work, she just doesn’t like it. Like with the eyebrows she even admitted that you see it in anime all the time

I love learning dynamic poses from you, everything clicks and starts to make sense why there's something a bit off

i love how you don’t completely change the original artworks. you just give tips instead of implementing your own style to it and calling it fixed. i loved this video! i’m definitely going to try to implement the things you mentioned in my future artwork!❤

Wow I wasn’t expecting mine to be done (mine was 9:14) Thanks for the advise I’ll try revising it 💞

This is a really great video and probably the most constructive art critique I've ever seen on YouTube. The only thing is that in the revised version of the piece of the girls singing at 9:08 the girls seem a little aged up. The round faces of the original piece really sold that awkward preteen thing that I think the artist was going for. All of the critique that was left in the edit seemed like a big improvement though. It's crazy how much hair can add depth to a portrait like in the picture of the lady in a sweater and the lady in the white cloth in the wind.

Love these style of videos! I’m at the point that I’d look at the art and think it looks perfect but then when I see the adjustments you make, it suddenly clicks for me too

I know nothing about drawing but these are so satisfying to watch and you're so gentle with your critique, it's almost like a art class, not a roast, I love this!💖 It reminds me of what my dad says "people who really know what they're doing don't have to tear others down, they teach instead"🤩

7:20 this was a great video but it was kinda funny seeing her calling Mike a girl XD
