I Made a Bridgerton Inspired Regency Open Robe - Plus Size Historical Costuming

Bridgerton season 2 is nearly upon us! I decided I needed to make a Featherington inspired Regency Open Robe in celebration! I graded up a pattern in the American Duchess dressmaking book for the bodice of this plus size Regency fashion garment. Open Robes were worn at the end of the 18th century into the beginning of the 19th century. Thank you for joining me here on CosTube for my plus sized historical costuming and sewing adventures!

I just want to thank you for making this video, It gave me the confidence to do this project myself. As a beginner, I wasn't too sure but after seeing this I was able to make adjustments and made a beautiful open robe for the Bridgeton Queen's ball

It turned out beautifully! I really don't know how you sew in such a small space. You have all of my admiration to do so. Plus, 2 cats coming to settle in as well! The room that you were in for the into and outro is so pretty. Is that fabric on the wall? Also, that color pink is definitely your color. It just made your skin glow.
