Lithium Ion batteies has no memory effect, and draining a Lithium Ion battery is NOT good for the battery. Keeping them between 40-70% charge at all times will make them last the longest.
The draining advice only applies for Nickel cadmium/metal hydride batteries.

Are these safe? And are those already ions? Or are they still NiMHs?

Laptops although cool in the early 90’s. Weren’t running much more than solitaire and an awesome billiards game from my recollection. Battery life was around 5 mins and the displays were abysmal. The good old days.

Could anyone please help me with NIMH information as I am just getting contradicting answers all of the time.
1. Do you need to 'condition' a new NIMH battery by slow charging it and discharging it multiple times?
2. Is a slow charge better than a fast charge to ensure longevity of the battery?
3. What is the best charge rate for longevity? 0.1C, .05C, 1C?

About the higher Energy density and higher power drain of Li Po !!

Also about the reason why Li Po is majorly used in drones for it's energy density.

should extend the set background to fill the frame. like the informative battery talk. an upperclassmen of mine came back from college and talked about this type of stuff, where they tried different mixtures with lithium. For example, one (i forget name) would theoretically increase battery life by 30x (or 300x i think), but they couldn't get the two to bind lol, basically failed, thats all i remember

So glad I didn't see this two years ago. I may have questioned the info from this channel afterwards. So much miss information like Nimh being a consistent 1.2v. Yes the slope is better but in no way does Nimh charge to and sustain 1.2v. I almost wonder if he has ever bothered checking the end charge voltage of a Nimh battery.
