Im confused with what the hell Gohan is supposed to be in this game, here Cell implies he's weaker than SSJ2 Cell Era Gohan, but in Gohan's confrontation with his clone he implies he's at least close to as powerful as Buu saga Ultimate Gohan and that if the Clone was created before he had his potential unlocked he'd have no trouble which would mean he's waayy stronger than SSJ2 Gohan ever was in Z. Also his entire gimmick in the game revolves around his Ultimate form.

Though I guess Cell just likes to talk shit about well... everyone in this.

Cell just proves the point of the Gohan fans. It's not so much the lack of Gohans power, it's his lack of unbending determination. Believe it or not, Gohan did HAVE an extremely strong fighting spirit. That doesn't mean he liked to fight irrationally like Goku, but he certainly had that sense and desire to get stronger and be as tough as his father. Gohan IS a completely different character. And not for the better in my humble opinion. You can balance life and martial arts. It's amazing how many people forget that
