Zoos will never be obsolete. At the rate animals are going extinct in the wild, they will become even more prevalent, as there will be many animals your kids will only be able to see in zoos. They might be rebranded as conservation parks or something nicer but they will definitely not become obsolete.

We should never go cashless. That's when the government can decide what you can/can't spend your money on. They'll control transactions.

Glasses will always be relevant because lenses aren’t for everyone and they are a pain to put (not to mention the threat of eye infections), Lasik or even the bionic eye thing are still expensive and I still think people won’t feel comfortable having their body modified in the long term. In my opinion glasses will always more reliable, simple and practical, and if they fog up, just clean them with your shirt or use antifog ( or just don’t be lazy).

Physical carts and discs can be lost, but that's the fault of the user. Digital only means the company decides when you stop owning it, thanks to forced obsoletion

Physical video games should not, and will not, go away. Even in the modern era, we commonly see platform holders shutter stores and remove access to digital games on a daily basis. Game preservationists and collectors will never let that die entirely. Just remember, if you are playing a game digitally, you don't own it - you just own a license to play it. And that license can be revoked.

It was ironic when watching this video online, Rebecca Brayton said when listening to the radio, you can't go more than a couple of songs before the all the commercials. The irony was, her statement was preceded a block of YT ads.

I *really* don’t like the whole “cash-free society” deal. To me it not only limits choice, but seems like just some lame thing that they are doing just to be all modern. I still mostly use hard cash because I personally prefer it. At least my wallet can’t suffer from malfunctions or glitches.

I don't think keys will ever die, as the alternatives you listed rely on electricity. One blackout and everyone is locked in or out.

My biggest concern with many of the items replacing “old versions”, is the steadily growing heavy reliance on electricity.

Until the flow of electricity can be guaranteed beyond a reasonable doubt and with absolute certainty I will alway keep the “older versions” as my personal guarantee of accessibility.

Who the hell would want for physical copies/storage of digital media to disappear?

Lot of those things won’t be obsolete, because people still need backups and particularly keys can’t be hacked online, also cash is still used for impulse payments, even physical media is still preferred by collectors, because you don’t need to worry about online connectivity nor censorship like with Netflix and Disney editing their classic movies.
