Oh the 2000s. What a time to be alive. TV, video games, devices, etc back in the 2000s brings back memories.

10:34 There was a feature at MSN that saved your messages as a text file. For some reason I did that back in 2004, I saved the files at a cd and forgot about it. Until two years before, I was checking my old CDs just out of curiosity and found the file. My reaction and especially joy seeing my chat talk from 2000-2004 era talking about things like music and movies like Lord of the Rings and Star Wars prequels is unmeasurable.

Born in 92, god I miss the 2000’s.

Perfect time to grow up with the internet and social media being a great thing but not the focus of life.

Take me back

I was around in the 2000s. Back then, I was a kid. The things from that decade I've experienced were Club Penguin, Blockbuster, and CD binders.

When I saw Zune, my first thought was "they've got to include the Guardians of the Galaxy clip, right?" and then you immediately did. Well done!

I really miss the 2000's, they seem like yesterday, but ended almost 16 years ago, if you can believe it! 😮

Honestly, I wish Club Penguin never ended.

DVDs are being taken away from us because movie studios doesn't want us owning them anymore . Its like being treated like 💩 for buying instead of illegal downloading .

I was a kid/teen in the 2000s(5-14) and it was probably the last decent era to grow up in tbh. It was the last pre-smartphone era and technology was still pretty tame. Internet was mainstream but hadn't completely taken over our lives yet since you still needed a desktop or laptop computer to access it. The “new millennium” was still a novelty so everything was fun, see-through, and experimental. Harry Potter was bigger than ever. Saturday morning cartoons were still a thing. Gameboy was still relevant and it was just a fun time to grow up.

I remember all these and still have a few items in the cupboards. It was a better time pre 2010. My kid will never know how simple it was .

The “Pepperidge Farm remembers” joke got me. That was a good one

It’s odd how the 2000s now is what the 1980s were like in the 2000s.

The Motorola Razr is one of those rare devices that even almost 2 decades later still looks sleek and current, the PSP is another and it's coming up on 20 in March or really already past 20 since it's launch in Japan and it still looks cool unlike some forms of tech that look obsolete after just a few years, I remember back in early 2012 my cousin had an iPhone 3G in a shoebox he asked me to grab and I swear at first glance I thought it was something from 2002 and it hadn't even been 4 years since it was released

I just bought a CD binder last year. Physical media needs to be preserved.
