Actually, Arctic supports max of 2 fans per port, so you can actually connect 2x more fans if you want to daisy chain 2 fans on 1 port.

Wanted to put 5 x 140mm fans on top and front, while my case can only have a 120mm on the back. My MB has only 2 PC case fan headers, so I got this gadget to have the 5 x 140mm on a single header without nuking my MB (they total 2A). The second header is for the back 120mm fan, as it operates on different RPM than the 140mm and I can control it separately this way & make it match the RPM of the 2 x 120mm fans that cool my CPU block, creating a push-pull-push set-up. Needless to say it works excellently so far. Happy CPU at 30C idle with closed front door on the case. Essential controller for a proper fan set-up! Great video!

Handy item, it looked like it was going to be proprietary but for any 4 pin fan very useful!

Thanks a lot for the warning about the pins in the start of the video. I was gonna buy a Value pack of 5 Arctic P12s and I noticed they have 3-pins which doesn't support PWM control.

Hi, Mike. It looks like a nice hub for the money. But another good hub is the XMSJSIY 2 in 1 hub that has six sata powered ports for six 12v 4pin PWM fans and six ports for 5v 3pin ARGB for $11

the best strategy is to use daisy power cable as a group .. bottom daisy group, back daisy group, top daisy group and single power cable for left if u have 9-10 fans. each group will be connected directly to motherboard ( so u will use 4 3Pin fan plug ) and for RGB its better to use Arctic fan hub and connect the hub to motherboard. in this scenario u are getting less randon flying daisy chain as show in the video and u can get even better power supply for each group separetly and Arctic Hub will take care of RGB. stick with this method

I have some Questions :
1- Does a fan have 2 cables or two ?
2- If I plugged the fans into the hub do the RGB sync
3- if Does a fan have 2 cables are they 1 for RGB and 1 for Power ?

My daughter's pc rocking an Arctic hub as per your previous video tutorial and been perfect over last 15months. I do have a question about the other hub on your PC, is that for RGB control? Thanks for sharing Mike and Kath👍
