Im glad he's gettin his respect. I bought his first single "into the pit" when he was with the group "art of origin." They never made an album together but they put out a second single, "irrational." And when he signed to rick rubins label as a solo artist, i bought the "here to save you all" album. Rest in peace Chino xl.

I was a fan after tupac diss him. In other words I didn't hear or know who he was til tupac. I was a tupac fan and didn't like him. But I ended up a fan cause he was definitely a lyricist talent. R.I.P. Chino XL

You can tell that a lot of battle rappers ran with his style over the past couple of decades. Legendary MC who always championed lyricism first before anything. I’m glad I got to see him live in 2012 with Immortal Technique.
