If a grand jury can determine that the evidence would warrant a conviction to the same standard as the potential trial jury (beyond a reasonable doubt) what, exactly, is the point of even going to trial? Makes no sense that this would be the standard.

Well if there really is a PROVABLE alibi it makes ZERO sense he hasn't revealed it already. Most likely a stall tactic to remain in jail instead of prison a while longer and hoping for a technical break/fuck up by the prosecution. What sort of person would choose to be locked up, and risk a death sentence, over showing their get out of jail free card?

They Found Multiple DNA in the Apartment and his was Touch DNA which is transferrable, he has zero connection with the victims, no DNA in his car nor in his apartment . you got to be a fool to convict him.

Judge is smart and very fair he'll make the right decision. No State should be using a lower standard to indict involving a murder case especially a quadruple murder seeking the Death Penalty..Preliminary hearing was appropriate before a judge where both sides present their evidence and witnesses are called. Judge imo will restore integrity allow preliminary hearing requested also by defense.
