Skidoo Skandic WT 900 ACE 2022 review

A short review of the 2022 Skidoo Skandic WT. Had it for a couple of weeks now.

I have had my 2019 Skandic WT 900ACE for 3 winter seasons now, I love it. I use it for mostly off trail riding, work around my cabin, some breaking trail into cabins of friends, and very little actual groomed trail riding. I mostly enjoy the quiet and no 2-stroke fumes for my preferred riding style which is idling through the woods by myself. I nick-named mine "The Dozer" as it isn't all that fast but it will go anywhere.

Twist the throttle around to the forward position so you run the throttle with your pointer finger.

Have you been in slush yet? How did it do?

Har haft min 22 en vinter nu, fin maskin går tyst och billigt och så men jag är lite besviken på hur dåligt den tar sig fram i lössnö. Jämför den med min gamla -06 5900 fce. Hur upplever du dens lössnöegenskaper?

I have the same machine, everything works pretty good.
Throttle operation takes some getting use too, kinda of jerky.
In real deep snow breaking trail I find this machine very tippy compared to my 2020 Skandic
When this machine starts to tip it’s is very hard or next to impossible to bring back on the trail.
In deep snow it will tip on its side, once straightened out it has no problem getting out of deep snow.

But….. the tippyness, it’s a real pain, like my 2020 better, different body style, they changed the body to Gen body style, this made it really top heavy and tippy
