Good to know, purchased the 900 expedition last year, haven’t gotten a chance to really try it yet .Late start to winter last year and still waiting for this year to begin.

The Rotax 900. Reputed for reliability and longevity. I wish they put that engine in my Defender SxS .

My 2015 Skandic WT 900Ace is the best starting machine I have ever owned! Have two batteries hooked up to her now though.

Yup. I have an older Ski-doo Legend with the 4 stroke and it started at -35 the other day. I was impressed. My next sled will be a Scandic or an Expedition.

Well that eases my mind now all I need is -40 and some snow I feel I may have to move to Labrador to get those conditions lol

My yamaha VK is a serious tough starter in -32 the other morning.Im installing a primer kit to alleviate those cold start issues.That 4 stoke is impressive.Seems everybody this year has got a blast of arctic air.

Enjoy your videos! Just bought a 2022 Skandic WT 600 etec I wanted the ace but not available. I had an Evinrude etec outboard that was a gem hopefully the Skandic will be the same. I have an off- grid camp in western Maine (5 - mile ride in by sled) my old sled was a 1997 skidoo so big upgrade. Your videos convinced me the Skandic is the machine I needed.

Would a car port help w shedding some weather from sled and maybe heater for sled to aide in starting? That must have lithium battery and synthetic oil.very impressed👍

I have the same sled, excellent machines. I installed the big rear bumper with the 2” receiver which works excellent. Great machine Chuck
