Gotta love all the videos from people who gave up for people who gave up trying to convince themselves they didn't really give up on anything

The point of college is to learn and grow! You might get a job you hate, but life isn't fair. LITERALLY. You just have to either accept it or try something new. Im 19 and I go to college to HOPEFULLY one day become a happily satisfied doctor.

Depends on what you chose, if you are dedicated to something, you will find a way.

Education, the business of teaching people skills for a trade/career.
Knowledge, the act of learning things, because they interest you.

Sometimes, they line up and make you prosperous, most of the time they don't. Most people associate knowledge with prosperity... sometimes those two ideas don't align either...

it ultimately depends on what you wanna do... Doctor, lawyer etc. college by all means.. Everything else really depends on who you know and how hard you can work.. Feel free to disagree I will respect and analyze all your opinions

College or not, all that really matters is if you're happy in the end.

I know this is supposed to be a parody of higher education but this is so much truth to this.

College was great. I literally never went to any parties, but had great roommates and loved going to our sporting events. Even got to stay another year because I changed my major. But then, just like the video said, I graduated. Life is, indeed, brutal.

Well, not all diplomas are made equal. If you graduate from a STEM field, then almost none of this applies to you. If you graduate from gender studies, then you get what you deserve.

I don't know how to feel- the confliction between not wanting to believe this, versus knowing that it's true... Ahh, life's great, isn't it -.-

Wow, this is scary accurate.
Now I get to think about how awesome my college years were and how shitty my life is now, ALL DAY!
Thanks Above Average!

For self-motivated people with resources to chase their dreams, they may be better off to skip college. But for an average teenager like I was, going to college is one of the best decisions I have made so far, because I was not sure what to do as a career, and in college I explore and find my way.
In college you can fuck things up and get a second chance, in society there are few such things without big penalty.
Enjoy college time kids, explore and learn. It's easy to be sarcastic, but takes courage to better oneself with the limited resources available.
