How U-Pack Works

Rossi Morreale visits an ABF terminal to learn more about U-Pack moving equipment.

Whether you're moving a little or a lot of stuff, U-Pack has the equipment to suit your needs. We're talking a well-maintained fleet of over 17,000 trailers and moving containers (called Cubes for short).
The trailers are 28 feet long, 8 feet wide, and 9 feet tall. They're about half as long as a standard 18-wheeler, so they're pulled in tandem on the highway. U-Pack trailer rates are based on linear feet, which means you only pay for the space you need. So what makes moving in a trailer flexible? If you end up needing more or less space than you reserved, just use what you need; your rate will be adjusted to reflect the exact amount used.
If you don't have a lot of items or enough space for parking a trailer, the Cube is the way to move. They are 6 feet long, 7 feet wide, and 8 feet high. They're big enough to hold about a room's worth of furnishings and they fit right into a parking space. You load it, lock it, and keep the key. You'll find the same flexibility with U-Pack Cubes—reserve as many Cubes as you need, and only pay for the ones you use!
You can load at your residence, a storage facility, or at a local ABF terminal. Select the option that works best for you at origin and destination to customize your move with conveniences that fit your needs. That's what flex moving is all about!

So If you pick the trailer, and my "Quote" was for 13 foot of trailer space, Do I still always get a 28 foot trailer delivered, and just pay for the number of feet I use?
