Wow, that frame is nice! I was at a Dr's office in the mid 90's and he had framed SI's all over the office. Being a huge sports fan it was pretty cool, unfortunately under all the lights they were faded to hell. I attribute that Dr's visit along with seeing a sports bar do the same right around the same time with getting me into collecting SI's. I even went down to only working 4 days a week so I could collect and sell off ebay. Was gonna start building frames too but then moved to Canada and stopped collecting. Gotta huge collection to go through!

Please do correct me if I am wrong, but the CGC slabs are not archival, acid free plastic. Meaning if a magazine is kept in them for an extended period of time the gas released from the plastic will destroy the paper. Particularly in vintage magazines where the paper is fragile.
