For all the questionable physics and far-fetched action in this film, I appreciate the fact that some of the footage in this clip is clearly of a genuine skydiver in freefall. It's quite difficult to fake that stuff, and when they do it often looks completely unconvincing.

Such a wild way to open the movie. Loved these moments that were more based in hard science rather than moon pirates or killer space monkeys (which felt more tacked on for extra action sequences).

This scene is probably to me one of the most intense "space" scenes along with the "Gemini 8" spin scene from "First Man".

That structure makes ZERO sense . its not a orbital beanstalk its just a tall tower that is obviously not high enough to really be in space and there would have to be a counterweight much further out to provide tension. a freestanding tower like that would have to be stronger than anything we could imagine and explosions would be unable to even scratch it.

Such a strong opening. I really thought this movie was going to be awesome after this. I was very wrong.
