My partner has a Hyundai i20N which being manual and with a real /physical handbrake, is just about perfect for her. It is being phased out so the Polo GTI is just about the only 200 bhp hot hatch left here in UK. Anything above £40K gets clobbered with extra taxes, which increasingly affects larger hot hatches of the Golf size.

I owned a Polo GTi 1400cc (supercharged and turbocharged). That was a quick car, especially on tight, twisty roads. Interestingly, that model Polo was the same size as the much loved MkI Golf GTi, but much quicker. Would certainly have another Polo GTi when my lifestyle suits.

Well dome once again beating the manufacturers 0 to 100 KPH Anna, enjoy that one sausage dinner! I've had a soft spot for the Polo for many years and this GTI version could be tempting as a town car that is more than useful on the faster lanes and should have no problem overtaking some holiday traffic. Unless of course you are 19th in the jam behind Mr and Mrs Candyfloss towing a caravan that has two tractors with trailers and a horse box behind it. Unless you are on a motorbike you are stuck even if you have an F1 performance car. A terrific video with great presentation and production, editing is perfect and It was nice to see the black cat again. Many thanks for sharing.
