While it’s been over a year now since the very controversial 2022 Oscars, Jim Carry and other celebrities can’t help but remember how disastrous the night unfolded, and I bet most of you will agree that the infamous Oscar slap is destined to be remembered every single time someone talks about the ceremony.
In fact, Jim has made very shocking statements about Will Smith and how his actions towards Chris Rock are not deserving of a standing ovation.

Chris showed who the real man in the room was . I agree with Jim Carrie 1000 percent, Will and Jada
deserve to be removed from the awards for life, not just 10 years .
Chris showed he is a man of class dignity, and integrity . Chris may be small, and yet at the same time he is a bigger man then Will will ever be .
Jada sat with a stupid smirk on her face enjoying the scene which she had caused .
I have no sympathy for Will or Jada, they have caused their own demise . What did they think would happen after openly displaying Jada sleeping around with her sons friend . People now see them for what they are, they will do anything to keep the spotlight on them .
Wills last award should have been taken down, removed from the show, and given to him privately . He did not deserve to be standing on the stage .

I'll never understand why GI Jada Jane's husband was given that award, a standing ovation and a 19 minute speech apologizing to everyone but the person he had physically assaulted, Chris Rock. Blows my freaking mind. 10 years is not a long enough banned sentence. Will should have gone to jail.

I agree 100% with what Carrey said at 2:00. He should have been charged with bodily assualt. Any one of us sure would have. So, I don't see why he got a FREE PASS.

The slap was the final draw for me. I started loosing respect for Will was when he stood by his wife's public anger over the awards not having recognizing any Blacks to be awarded. Then the slap. And now the awards is not about the best of the best. But of equal awards based on color rather than skills.

Dumb police laws. They should have arrested witnessing the assault and not needing for the victim to make a press charges law. In Canada, police can charge you, not the victim. Just in case the victim is being intimidated by the assailant
