Filming that ever so patient lizard was a nice piece of camera work.

As a South African growing up in KZN..This puts shivers up my spine. We get a lot of crocks too. The medium sized ones are the quickest. Gotta keep an eye on them.

Sharks very rarely hunt humans, but Salt water crocodiles will actively pursue humans. That’s what makes them so scary, but they aren’t afraid of us

Calculating distance and sizing you up for sure. Also could hear the drone and when you were landing it, the croc could have thought your drone was prey that was now on the rocks. Either way I'm gonna wait for the movie.

Never knew they actually stalk and hunt humans, probably the only animal apart from polar bears that do it

These things have been ruining my ambush operations for a long time now. Seems every camper has one, how am I supposed to stalk people? - Croc

this is why you dont feed the crocs. the next guy to come around gets stalked and now your training a passive animal into a man-eater

I wouldn't be keen on using that boat in the Kimberley. We've had them trying to get into a higher sided tinny and had to beat them back with oars so I would see that boat as a big risk. Some of the crocs we encountered are big 5+ meters and wouldn't think twice about taking you off that slow moving dinner plate. :) Had a few close calls even when taking extra precautions.

Hi Mike. The all mighty algorithm has been listening to us talking here. 😂 Currently camping in Russell Rv national park (Graham Range end) and took the rod for a quick spin in the little estuary and although it has been raining for a week today a little sun came out, sure enough, while we approach the sand bank there’s a smallish croc sunbaking on the sandy edge. I am amazed at how good their sight is, we were about 60m away and partly concealed by a Casuarina but she (probably a female as the Ranger told us there was a big croc and two smaller ones around) saw us and slithered into the water after a few mins. End of fishing expedition! 😅

It's in its natural habitat a d looking to do what it does best. Can't blame it. Not saying you're in the wrong either - great footage.

That's a small croc. He was more interested in your drone than eating you!

Those Critters can run pretty fast... if you're sleeping there and he comes running after you you won't have much of a chance.

You can see vids of them running through golf courses in Florida.
