This is my 2017 Mitsubishi Mirage G4 SE doing a 0-60 run in "Drive Sport Mode" seems to keep the revs about 500 RPM higher when floored. But does make the car alot more peppy in general but would hurt MPG.

On average I see my car do 0-60 in 13 to 15 seconds in the few acceleration videos I have done. Sure thats slow but for what it lacks in fast acceleration it makes up for by giving you that fun 3 cylinder thrum and a personality all its own. It does seem that the little extra weight of the G4 makes it a tad slower than the hatch. My 2015 had 74 horsepower and my 2017 here has 78 horsepower but the 2017 is about 1 second or so slower. But the updated engine with the roller cam shaft, redesigned engine mount(s) (found in the listed updates of 2017) makes the 2017 sound smoother, feel smoother and is much smoother at idle. The 2017 in general is much more upgraded feeling than my 2015 was.

I want to get this car, I know there are better faster options. But I want a new reliable car, already test drove and everything so I know what to expect

This car may not be blazing fast out the gate but it moves when needed Its not built to be fast not with 78hp.Its a point A to B basic economy car nothing else.but a good reliable one.You want a fast 0 to 60 ride buy something else.
