I had very good luck with my '00 Eclipse so I'm sticking with Mitsubishi and buying a brand new stripped version of this car today for 11k.

I have the car, it's actually closer to 40 in the city and 35 on the highway. The reason is that the 3 cylinder engine causes it to require more RPM to go at higher speeds, resulting in some fuel loss.

Great car for the features and price. Your money will go a long way in both gas savings and options. All this for under $20, 000?

Would be a great car for running errands around town and across. Not everybody needs a V8 engine with 500 HP, just to go pick up groceries. And not all of us have extra money lying around to waste for nothing.
