Just a quick note on the price - only the top of the range version is coming to Oz. In the UK this has about 7k pounds (9k US dollars) of extras. That almost eats all the difference between the petrol and electric versions. The same spec petrol is only slightly cheaper (3-4k ish). Yes it is expensive, but it is probably closer to the equivalent petrol version price than any other multi engine (motor) car out there.

How does it handle on rural roads? How does the ground clearance go with the battery pack on the floor? How does it handle over potholes?

Haha, quite funny beginning :D very nice camera shots and review of course. In terms of car itself, looking from father perspective I would miss doors in the back passengers especially in tight parking spots. But for sure this car is recommended for different audience than families I guess ;p

Loved your into! I wish a few others would try this tack. As for the Mini Cooper Electric, I agree, it's best used as a city car. 'Range anxiety' is a big thing in Australia whee we actually own our own continent.

Please review more EVs. Range anxiety is what happens when you run out of petrol. EV drivers know when to charge.
