Hey Boys,
Thanks for the fun show. Sorry I missed the live airing. I didn't see it pop up on my feed until this morning. Yeah, Professor Hockey is a fun show. Congratulations to you guys for the awards and to Super Producer Jason for making the cover of that magazine. Now I get to say I know you guys and have even had a ride in SPJ's bad ass Tesla! hahaha

My own thoughts about where the Sharks are currently more or less match your own enthusiastic views. For me I think it all depends on how quickly the young guys can contribute and how well the veteran's on the team are able to play as far as when we might be able to contend for a play off spot again.

I think it is likely that in 3 years we will be ready to really challenge for a spot but, we just don't know with all the influx of new players and young talent how well it will come together. When the Sharks traded for Joe Thornton we had no idea that pairing him with Johnathan Cheecho would work so spectacularly. We also had no idea that Joe Pavelski would rise from the last round so quickly to become a cornerstone of the teams he was on and produce in virtually every situation.

I think that is the fun part Paul was referring to. We get to go along for the ride as all of these new faces don teal and see them rise or fall. We get to see every successful transition and every experiment that fails. Its all part of the journey and it looks to me like we are in for one heck of a ride boys so strap in!
