Seeing keria in the crowd to support deft is wholesome

The most recent (and possibly final) addition to the “Faker blocking Deft from reaching worlds” story came this year when T1 qualified to worlds at their last chance qualifier in the tiebreak match against KT. Then going on to win worlds as 4th seed just like DRX did is a crazy parallel between the two players.

Edit: That last deft quote made me cry.

DRX: These games were so fun! Here we go atlantaaa!
Meanwhile Zeka: Who stole my penta?
😭😭😭😭😭

As a T1 fan this worlds 22 finals loss hurts the most. But after watching this and the previous videos about Deft's journey. I am glad Deft became a world champion and lifted the trophy.

Finally someone does justice to the most incredible storyline in esports history!

Also I know this is a series on Deft and Faker, but Zeka deserves huge credit, bro turned in to the best player in the world by far for like 3 weeks. And also for people watching this video without seeing the actual finals in its entirety, you owe it to yourself to watch it. So many cool moments were not included, including the gumayusi blind baron steal in game 5, the bard pick, and the incredible opening ceremony.

what's so crazy about Deft isn't his championship but the fact that he lights up whoever plays with him...he let Keria, chovy and doran go even though they would have stayed had he asked leading to the formation of the ZOGFK and GenG rosters, then STILL won worlds anyway

2022 was honestly the best Worlds ever. Best storyline, best character arc, and the most satisfying ending.

The ending of Game 5 Worlds 2022 was the most poetic ending of all time. SKT pushing DRX to the absolute limit with those steals and last ditch plays. But that only made the victory more gratifying for DRX.

Man, I totally thought that "unbreakable spirit" quote was someone's else quote that deft read. But, that's actually his own quote!!!! What a man!

I find works like this documentary are a major component of what e-sports sometimes seem to lack. These teams developed by companies as marketing schemes are very hard for people to invest in them and create stories. This documentary however is appealing and is understood to someone even if they haven't played a day of league. It is a representation of the human condition that only sports combined with storytelling can deliver. When people's wants and desires collide in a way, in an environment, of mutual competition driving everyone to be their better self. These stories remind us of what it means to be human and this is exactly what many amongst us today need to be reminded of

Drx is the most mental team that I ever seen from World history looking back how tf did they win, the fact that they win with this lineup just insane we have:
-A toplaner that isn’t stable
-A weak minded Jungler that have to be benched multiple time
-A unknown mid lanner who played in the LPL a couple of year
-An old washed up adc who do shine in LCK but doesn’t perform as expected during World
-And an sp who at the time was mock at because he played Genshin too much.

Man, that Keria crying clip still makes me weep, the torment, the pain you feel it...

Just want to point this out how crazily similar SKT's and DRX's world's parallels are:

DRX in 2022
Entered Worlds as LCK'S #4 seed
Beat GEN-G in Semi-finals
Were down 1-2 in Finals
Won 3-2

SKT T1 now:
Entered Worlds as LCK'S #4 seed
Beat GEN-G in Semi-finals
Were down 1-2 in finals
Won 3-2

Edit: DRX in 2022 not 2023

I have never really followed pro-LoL. I barely know the players beyond Faker. But I watched all of this video and was hooked the whole time. Amazing and emotional story telling!
