Khabib didn't come close to losing it because earlier too once someone tried choking him but failed. It was his strategy to exhaust Dustin but I think it was a dangerous strategy.

He was never close to losing ever. But yes for all of the debaters. In regards of arguments sake this was the “closest Khabib ever came to losing.” Which seven still wasn’t close at all. He’s literally the best after Jon Jones. Idgaf about how many title defenses how many contenders he fought. How many times he defended his belt. Any fight he signed a contract for. He mailed and dominated. People forget a lot for those top contenders at the time of his come up didn’t want to get in the cage with him.
