Thank you for the reviews, I've just found your channel.
I have Byways on my bike and they were perfect for my mix of riding in the drier months, but I'm finding them too slippy now in winter as the mostly gravel routes I take are quite muddy in places. I'm still cycling on roads also though.
I've been looking at the Venture, Sendero and Resolute. I think the Resolute would probably be the best option for winter, but I'm worried that I'll lose the plush feel of the Byways if I go from 47 down to 42. What would you suggest?

great review! btw, is i do 80% pavment and 20% gravel, do u suggest this tire or something else?

Got WTB Horizon tyres on my Whyte Glencoe 650b × 47mm, any tips on sealing tyre against the rims? Yes I removed valve core, used Topeak Joeblow pump on full boost tank, tried 14 times, yes really!

Getting my first 650b setup soon, starting with these WTBs, so thanks. That wouldn't be the outskirts of the Bay Area near I-80 I see in the background would it? Looks a bit familiar.

Ran these on my Exploro but the front tire washes out too easily on Bay Area trails. I noticed Cannondale sticks a Venture on the front with a Byway on the back on their new SuperX left setup.

I have 650b Horizons on my gravel touring bike. I rode 730kms down the Rhone River to the Med from Switzerland....gravel tow paths and asphalt combo...they did roll great and grip good on gravel....though any mud and slip as you would expect. Converted to tubeless though finally had a glass puncture and glad to have a spare tube to fit. Looking at these WTB Byways as a next purchase.

I have them. They’re great 👍
A bit heavy, but they roll so fast on tarmac.
But I do not recommend them for winter. Mud and climbs are it’s worst enemy. In the summer they’re awesome

from what I can remember most bike tires had a pattern like this when I was a kid unless it was an old school ten speed of a banana bike with a slick on the back the tires looked like these

Yeah I wiped out hard on these tires. Too many limitations for my style of riding. Definitely getting mtb XC Tires on my gravel set up going forward.
