Asclepius, also known as "Aesculapius", or "Ἀσκληπιός", was the Greek god of healing and medicine. In this video we take a look at his mythology, some of his temples, as well as the ways in which he was worshiped.

Its strange that Aesculapius who was known at IMHOTEP in Ancient Egypt, could have been transformed so vastly different in Greece from how he was originally portrayed in Egypt. It leads me to look deeper into so many other "myths" to find their original truth before they became retold over again, innumerable times, in a "broken telephone" sort of fashion, becoming grossly distorted. Thanks for sharing.
