Miniature Quick Trip Quilt: Wall Hanging or Table Runner

Hi!

I’m back in the sewing room today.

This is a strip piecing project. You will choose 6 coordinating fabrics. I use fat quarters, and there’s plenty of fabric remaining from the fat quarters, as you only cut two 21” strips from each fat quarter.

After the strips are sewn together, you sew the strips into tubes. Then cut the tubes into equal segments. It’s a really fun technique!

This will make a wonderful wall hanging or table runner.

In this video I show step-by-step how to complete the center of the quilt. In part 2, which will be posted a week from this one, I will add borders and complete the project.

For best results sew with 15 stitches per inch or 2.0 setting on your computerized sewing machine.

This is so beautiful. I am a new quilter and don’t believe I am experienced enough to attempt this. It is outstanding, love it, wish I could do this
