1. Always remember that Allah is watching u.
2. Do try to understand and respect eachother
3. Be like close friends, share everything.
4. Don't argue n fight with each other.
5. Patience is everything.
6. stay calm and think twice before u speak in the state of anger
7. Don't backbite ur spouse in front of ur family, friends or relatives

I feel the hardest thing is finding a sincere person. A lot of people especially who you meet in school or work you only see one side to them. If you saw how they are within their families or home you might change your thoughts about them. Never also get so infatuated over someone until your married to them as very likely if you got married to them they are committed for you.
